Annai Velankanni

Annai Velankanni is an Indian drama film in Tamil, made in 1971. The film starred Gemini Ganesan, Jayalalitha, Padmini, K.R Vijaya and Kamal Hassan and was directed by K. Thankappan. It comprises three stories which teach Christian beliefs. Velankanni, where the film is set, is a real village in India, and has a large temple dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Jesus.
